Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has stayed away from the limelight ever since his last outing in Bollywood in 2018. The Anand L Rai film titled Zero also featured Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The film didn’t do well at the Box Office and was declared a flop.
Shah Rukh Khan’s fans have been eagerly waiting for their favourite star to return on the big screen but alas reports stated the actor has become very picky about his films ever since Zero. Well, it seems like King Khan has made up his mind and might be seen in Siddharth Anand’s next action film.
According to the reports, Yash Raj Films will finally make their biggest announcement of the 50-year anniversary project with this SRK movie. Sources reveal that the War director’s upcoming venture featuring Shah Rukh Khan is titled Pathan, and also we are likely to see Deepika Padukone as the female lead.
The source further added that the script of the movie is almost ready and Shah Rukh Khan has signed the papers. The 54-year-old actor is now reportedly sitting with YRF heads to chalk out the shooting schedule and timelines.

The hearsay also suggests that as YRF’s 50th anniversary is next month, Aditya Chopra is expected to announce Pathan and gives its release date as October 2, 2021.
Speaking about the SRK starrer, the film is expected to be an action drama film and it will be lavishly-mounted. Siddharth Anand wanted to shoot the film at several new locations across the globe just like War. However, with COVID-19 pandemic showing no signs of subsiding, YRF is exploring other options. Pathan was allegedly slated to roll in October 2020, but no date has been fixed till now.
