Tillu Square To Release On THIS OTT Platform After Theatrical Run

TilluSquareOTT: Directed by Mallik Ram the highly anticipated sequel, Tillu Square, following Siddu Jonnalagadda’s DJ Tillu, was finally released in the theatres on March 29. After its theatrical release, the Telugu film opened up to “positive reviews” from the public and took a flying start at the box office. As per the latest reports, it is now revealed that a leading streaming OTT platform has bagged the digital rights of the film.

According to reports, Netflix has acquired the official streaming rights for the film, indicating a probable release on the platform. As per the reports, the OTT platform acquired the digital rights of the film at a substantial amount. However, an official confirmation is awaited.

Meanwhile, talking about the OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced. The 8-week theatre window is the standard theatrical-to-digital window that typically spans around 8 weeks. This means the film will most probably be released on the OTT platform by May or June.

Talking about the film, Tillu Square serves as the follow-up to the 2022 movie “DJ Tillu”, with Siddu Jonnalagadda returning to his role, alongside other actors such as Muralidhar Goud, and Praneeth Reddy Kallem, reprising their respective roles from the original film.

Meanwhile, Anupama Parameswaran takes on the female lead. The storyline of Tillu Square tracks Tillu’s life as it takes an unexpected turn following a perplexing murder. Written by Siddu Jonnalagadda, Tillu Square is directed by Mallik Ram. The Telugu film, Tillu Square was released in theatres on 29 March 2024.
