Netflix’s hit fantasy series The Witcher season 2 left fans on a hopeful note as Ciri, Geralt, and Yennefer finally come together. Meanwhile, the game-changing scene comes at the end when it was revealed that the White Flame was none other than Ciri’s dad, Duny, aka Emhyr Var Emreis, the emperor of Nilfgaard. Since then, fans are eagerly waiting to see what comes next in season 3.

However, it was previously reported that Season 3 of The Witcher has halted production as lead star Henry Cavill tested positive for COVID. However, the production has now resumed after a halt earlier this week. While there’s still a lot of time left in the release of The Witcher season 3, here are a few answers to the questions that fans might be wondering.

Alongside Mecia Simson, Henry Cavill and Cassie Clare, the new season includes six new cast members, Ryan Hayes, Michalina Olszanska, Kate Winter, Martyn Ellis, Harvey Quinn, and Poppy Almond.

Netflix’s The Witcher Season 3 will follow the events of Andrzej Sapkowski’s fourth Witcher book Time of Contempt, which led to the disbandment of the Brotherhood of Sorcerers. The book explores Ciri and Geralt’s relationship as they learn more about the latter’s powers. Geralt is also forced to change his neutral stance on the Continent’s politics as different factions are now hunting Ciri down.

Meanwhile, the official synopsis of the upcoming season reads, “As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennefer leads them to the protected fortress of Aretuza, where she hopes to discover more about the girl’s untapped powers; instead, they discover they’ve landed on a battlefield of political corruption, dark magic, and treachery. The Witcher Season 3 Release Date
The Witcher Season 3 will be streaming on Netflix, however, the series currently don’t have a confirmed release date. But it is supposed that it will not release until next year.
