Millie Bobby Brown has reportedly made history as she is set to receive a paycheck of $10 million for her latest role in Enola Holmes 2. The Stranger Things star will set a record for the largest upfront salary paid to an actor under the age of 20. The actress first played the role of the character Enola in the 2020 film opposite Henry Cavill and is set to earn a very larger sum for the sequel.
Millie starred as Sherlock Holmes’ younger sister in the film series, with Henry portraying the famous detective. Netflix confirmed there would be a sequel to the film in May. Taking to Twitter, the streaming service announced, “A sequel is afoot! Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill will return in ENOLA HOLMES 2.” Netflix has confirmed in a recent tweet that the upcoming movie will stream later this year. In the announcement tweet, Netflix revealed the release dates of some of the most anticipated series and movies.
While Fate: The Winx Saga S2 will hit the streaming platform this autumn, Blonde will release on September 23. The Gray Man will release on July 22, Locke & Key season 3 on August 10 and Warrior Nun season 2 this fall. However, the official synopsis of Enola Holmes 2 read, “Now a detective-for-hire like her infamous brother, Enola Holmes takes on her first official case to find a missing girl, as the sparks of a dangerous conspiracy created a mystery that requires the help of friends and Sherlock himself to unravel.”

Meanwhile, when the sequel was announced back in May 2021, Millie Bobby Brown shared, “I can’t wait to collaborate again with my Enola Holmes family! Enola holds a special place in my heart she’s strong, fearless, intelligent and brave. I look forward to fans seeing how her journey continues!” Alongside Brown, The Witcher’s Henry Cavill will reprise the role of famed detective Sherlock, while Pistol star Louis Partridge will return as Tewkesbury.
However, Millie Bobby Brown has already used to a hefty paycheck, having reportedly earned $20,000 per episode of the first season of Stranger Things. Meanwhile, her salary was said to have increased by season three because of the huge popularity of the show. Meanwhile, Millie has several other projects coming up that’ll bring her income well into 2023, including Damsel (in which she plays a princess).
