In the first season of The Broken News, Shriya, known as Radha Bhargava, is falsely implicated as a terrorist and imprisoned. However, the sequel sees Radha seeking retribution against Diapankar Sanyal, portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat. The trailer opens with Radha disclosing to Ameena Qureshi, played by Sonali, a revelation that could ruin Dipankar’s career.
Despite Ameena’s efforts to steer Radha back to the true essence of journalism, both Radha and Dipankar engage in a fierce newsroom rivalry, pushing boundaries to extremes. While Radha seeks political backing, Dipankar schemes for her demise.
