The trailer of the web series 'Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond' is out now, which gives some enthralling insights into the Balakot airstrike planned to answer Pakistan's Pulwama Attack in 2019.

Indian entertainment has been shifting towards reality-based content, venturing into realistic stories like ‘Mein Atal Hoon’, ‘Savarkar’, ’12th Fail’, ‘Scam 1992’, ‘IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack’ and many more. And to add on to this reality-based entertainment, JioCinema has come up with a new web series, ‘Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond’. The makers have dropped the trailer of this thrilling web series which garnered thousands of views within a few hours. Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond is about that attack by India which planned to take revenge for 2019’s Pulwama attack by Pakistan.

The trailer opens with a glimpse of the Pulwama Attack that killed many CRPF soldiers. Starring a huge star cast together in this series is a plus point; it includes Jimmy Shergill, Lara Dutta, Prasanna Venkatesan, Ashutosh Rana, Ashish Vidyarthi, Akanksha Singh, Satyajeet Dubey, Elnaaz Norouzi. The trailer depicts how the Indian intellectual folks in the defense ministry planned a Balakot air strike on Pakistan right after the Pulawama attack. It has skillfully shown the use of social media tactics in war strategy and particularly emphasized hybrid war. It not only focused on Indian scenarios, but it also depicts the Pakistani narratives. Ranneeti: Balakot & Beyond is based on terrorism in India and its root cause.

Lara Dutt and Jimmy Shergill have been seen in prominent roles. They have deftly carried the intellectual sense throughout their characters. Showing such a well-planned air strike on a big screen is indeed a skill and director Santosh Singh has presented it adeptly. The trailer gives the quick blinks of Fighter Pilot Abhinandan Varthaman at the end, who was captured by Pakistan during the Balakot air strike.

The trailer is enthralling, and it has stretched the curiosity of audiences. But no worries, the series will stream on JioCinema on April 25th.
