Prashanth Neel’s much-anticipated film, Salaar is finally out in the theatres. The action thriller starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Shruti Haasan was released on 22 December. Prashanth Neel’s film, Salaar opened up to positive reviews from critics and moviegoers. As per the latest reports, Salaar’s digital release details have also been revealed.
Salaar OTT Release
As per the reports and speculations, it is believed that the makers of the Telugu film, Salaar have sold the digital rights of the film to, streaming giant Netflix for a substantial amount. Although the official confirmation about the same is yet to be given.
Meanwhile, talking about the OTT release date of the film is yet to be announced. The 8-week theatre window is the standard theatrical-to-digital window that typically spans around 8 weeks. This means Prabhas starrer Salaar will most probably be released on the OTT platform by March or April.
Salaar Box Office Collection
As per the reports, Salaar has already grossed a whopping 50cr through its advanced booking collections for its opening day. As per the trade experts, the film can record a box opening between 60cr and 80cr domestically. If all goes well, the film can also cross the 100cr mark with its worldwide box office opening day collections.

Salaar will be a Telugu action thriller film, directed by KGF director Prashanth Neel. The film will feature Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Jagapati Babu, Eshwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy in significant roles. The film was released in theatres on December 22, 2023 in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
