Thunivu OTT release: Ajith Kumar’s action heist entertainer Thunivu is set to have it’s digital premiere on Netflix. The film will begin streaming on Netflix from 8 February. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Netflix India’s official twitter announced the news.

Thunivu was released theatrically on 11 January 2023, in the week of Pongal and received mixed reviews from critics. Despite mixed reviews, Thunivu was well accepted by the Tamil Nadu’s family audience. The film has so far grossed Rs. 120 crores nett in India with another Rs. 54 crores from overseas, taking a total global collection to 190.52 crores gross.
Written and directed by H. Vinoth, and produced by Boney Kapoor, the action- heist film revolves around a mysterious mastermind – Daredevil (Ajith Kumar) and his team forms a plan and commits bank heist to find the corporate looted people’s money.
The action-heist film also stars Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, Mahanadhi Shankar, Prem Kumar, Bagavathi Perumal in key roles. The film’s music was composed by Ghibran.
Meanwhile, Ajith will commence the shoot for his next film from the third week of February. The shooting of the film is planned to be wrapped up in 35-40 days. Directed by Vignesh Shivan, the film marks the first-time collaboration between the actor and director.
