Following its recent announcement, fans of Amazon Prime Video’s crime drama “Mirzapur” have been eagerly anticipating the third season. While actors like Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, and Shweta Tripathi are set to return, Divyenndu has revealed that he won’t be part of the upcoming season.

In a recent interview, Divyenndu confirmed his exit from the popular series and said, “On Humans of Bombay, I shall declare, I am not a part of ‘Mirzapur Season 3′”. The Madgaon Express actor further opened up on his decision and the actual reason behind quitting the series. Divyenndu shared insights into the difficulties he encountered portraying a character with such darkness.
He said, “When I was in character, it was affecting my personality a lot. We shouldn’t over-romanticise going too deep into a character, because it is not easy. At times, it used to get really dark for me. I felt suffocated. It’s so tricky that you don’t even realize that you are in that zone. It’s only when you come out of it do you realize how dark it was.”
