Bollywood actor Manoj Bajpayee has indeed rocked this year with amazing performances. ‘Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai’, ‘Gulmohar’ and now the upcoming film ‘Joram’ has set the standard of content at a high level and within that this versatile actor has put all his heart into these films. This NSD actor has given many amazing films, yet his one character is his favourite of all time amongst all the others. That one character is ‘Srikant Tiwari’ from The Family Man. Its two seasons are out and now people are waiting for its 3rd season.
The Family Man is a spy-thriller webseries about a person balancing between his responsibilities to family and to the nation. Manoj Bajpayee’s character in this series is very different from the previous characters he has played. It won’t be exaggerated if we say that Srikant Tiwari has given immense popularity and love to Manoj Bajpayee. The first two seasons received fantastic responses, but there is no solid news about its third season.
In an interview with Koimoi, Manoj Bajpayee talked about season 3 of The Family Man. While asking him this question, he said, “I already know this question, is the third season of The Family Man happening? Even I want answer to this question. Its been 2 years since last season streamed. And there is a huge audience who is being impatient now.”
Later talking about the update on season 3, he said, “It is definitely happening. It’s a work in progress. Raj and DK are not in favour of rushing into Season 3. To go from Season 1 to Season 2 it took us three years. So please grant us that much time for Season 3. When we do come with Season 3, I promise you, the surprise factor will be just as high as Season 2, if not more.”
Raj and DK are makers of this series. With Manoj Bajpayee, the series has Priyamani, Sharad Klekar, Sharib Hashmi, Ashlesha Thakur and Vedant Sinha in prominent roles. Season two also casts Samantha Ruth Prabhu as another lead. As fans have a declaration over season 3, it will be worth waiting to see thrilling story with some new faces in it.
