While movies are struggling at the box office, OTT platforms are delivering hits and superhits. Another new series to entertain the audience of digital space is Hush Hush. This marks the debut of Juhi Chawla and Ayesha Jhulka. Along with the two, the crime thriller also stars Soha Ali Khan and Kritika Kamra. The trailer of the mystery murder Hush Hush by Amazon Prime Video has been released.
The story traces the lives of four very rich ladies, caught up in a murder plot. The landed on a murder plot on a fancy night out is way too similar to HBO hit Big Little Lies to ignore. The trailer gives a peek into the lives of a group of friends who get involved in something terrible, presumably murder.
Juhi Chawla who is making a digital debut with the series shared the trailer on her official social media account. Below in the caption, she wrote, “Some secrets can’t be kept hush hush for too long ? #HushHushOnPrime, Sep 22”
According to the show’s official synopsis, “Hush Hush is a knitted in a web of lies, deceit and fighting patriarchy, the story explores the storm that brews behind the seemingly quiet facade of the privileged lives of these women.”
Hush Hush is the first collaboration of Juhi Chawla and Soha Ali Khan. The suspense murder mystery show also marks the return of Juhi and Ayesha Jhulka and their debut in the digital world. While Soha has previously appeared in a Zee5 show Kaun Banegi Shikharwati, the Ishq actor has not featured in any OTT show. The Pataudi daughter will again team up with Kritika Kamra after her debut web series.
Hush Hush is suspense thriller series revolving around a few women’s life that goes upside down after an incident. It is directed by Tanuja Chandra and produced by Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on September 22.
