Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s highly awaited and much-anticipated movie Animal was released in the theatres on 1 December. The action drama starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor shattered the box office. After its spectacular performance at the box office, the film is expected to hit the OTT platforms in December.
Animal OTT Release Date & Platform
As per the reports, the digital rights of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal have been sold off to streaming giant, Netflix. As per Deccan Chronicle, the makers are planning on releasing the film during the festive Sankranti week. The film might make its OTT debut in January on the 14th or 15th of January during the holiday period.
Many reports suggest that the OTT release of ‘Animal’ will include an extended version, extending the runtime from the theatrical 3 hours and 21 minutes to 3 hours and 49 minutes.
Animal Box Office Collection
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal had a box office opening worth ₹ 63.8 Cr. The film also crossed the 100cr mark with its worldwide box office collection on Day 1. Meanwhile, the film has now crossed the 300cr mark with its domestic collection and the 500cr mark with its worldwide box office collection. Animal is expected to see more growth during its second weekend at the box office.
