Why is Sarah Hyland at a Greater Risk of Coronavirus Infection ?

Sarah Hyland, star of' Modern Family' says she has a higher chance of contracting the novel coronavirus. Read below to know why she said so

Modern Family fame Sarah Hyland has also been honest about her health problems and now that the environment is finding solutions to protect peoples ‘ lives from the outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19), she has her share of fears and worries.

Recently, the Lion Guard actress talked about being immune-compromised. In simple terms, since she has a weak immune system, the star is at a higher risk of catching the coronavirus. She spoke on the Brad Behavior podcast hosted by Brad Goreski and explained how everything in her house is always sanitized to protect her immune system.

“Say someone gets a 24-hour bug, I get it for a week or more. For me, it’s really dangerous,” she stated (via). Sarah even added that her “panic level is pretty high,” but she still has a lot of health issues that are very susceptible to stress.” She’s trying to remain positive and prevent stress.

Sarah was rushed into hospital in October last year for unclear reasons. She was diagnosed with kidney dysplasia and was subsequently exposed to two kidney transplants. When coronavirus spreads, Sarah stops going out of the house until the need arises. “My game plan is to stay home right now,” she said.

Moreover, several Hollywood actors, including Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, and Game of Thrones star Kristofer Hivju have also tested positive for coronavirus.
