What Khloe Kardashian thinks on receiving a diamond ‘Promise Ring’ from Tristan Thompson

In a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian on receiving lavish gifts and messages from her ex-Tristan Thompson takes a stand on what she wants out of their relationship.

In the Dec 1 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which was filmed a few months after Tristan Thompson cheated on Khloe Kardashian with Jordyn Woods, Tristan is seen trying to win Khloe back. Khloe in her confessional explains, “Lately, Tristan’s been telling me that he’s sorry and he loves me and appreciates me. But right now, the most I can handle is a co-parenting relationship. I really believe that Tristan wants more than than, but that’s just not what I’m about.”

But Khloe is taken back by surprise when she takes a trip to Mohegan Sun with her pals Malika and Khadijah Haqq and sees a diamond necklace in her hotel room from Tristan. Khloe seems at a loss of words on seeing the diamond necklace and wonders if this is like an early present she received. She is not sure whether to keep it or no, as she wants to make sure there are no expectations. She ends up FaceTiming Tristan and thanks to him for the gift, but one cannot miss that her guard is still up.

Later she gets another surprise and this one catches her even MORE off-guard. She tells Scott that Tristan wants to give her a birthday present. But she tells him that she doesn’t want one, he however insists and gives her a card and asks her if she can accept a ring. But she tells Scott she denied accepting it. But he tells her it’s a promise ring, but she tells him that she cannot accept it. Scott even points out how it looks like an engagement ring but Khloe reveals how the ring isn’t even what means the most to her but the card is. She explains, “It’s the nicest, longest card in his bad handwriting, which is what I wanted — just something tangible I could keep. I go, this is a beautiful new you I’m seeing. I just don’t want there to be any blurred lines.”

Khloe in her final confessional reveals, “I want us to have a healthy, kind and loving relationship where True can see her mom and dad hug each other when we see each other. Tristan is really trying to show how sorry he is on a daily basis, whether that be a nice gift or a text. I do appreciate that because I know that he’s trying. I think we’re slowly moving into the right direction of being friends, as well as excellent co-parents.”
