WATCH: Phone Thrown At Rapper Drake During Live Performance

Audience member disrupts rapper's live performance by throwing a phone on stage.

Recently, singer Adele addressed a serious problem while performing live on stage. She expressed her concern over fans throwing things on stage, which often leads to artists being hit. Adele boldly dared her fans not to throw anything at her, stating, “I fucking dare you. Dare you to throw something at me, and I’ll fucking kill you.”

During a performance of his cover of Ginuwine’s “So Anxious,” Canadian artist Drake also faced a similar incident when someone threw a phone at him. A video of the incident has been circulating on social media, showing Drake attempting to catch the object but ultimately failing. However, he continued with his performance.

This unfortunate trend of targeting artists with objects has affected several musicians. Bebe Rexha, for example, had a phone thrown at her face during a performance, resulting in the perpetrator being apprehended and charged with assault. Similarly, Ava Max experienced an audience member rushing the stage and slapping her, causing an injury to her eye. Max expressed her frustration on Twitter, stating that the assailant would never be welcome at her concerts again. Kelsea Ballerini also encountered a similar incident in Idaho, where she was struck by an object. Following this unsettling occurrence, Ballerini urged her fans to prioritize their safety and report any suspicious or uncomfortable situations.

During the concert, Drake took the stage solo and mesmerized the crowd with a captivating performance of 12 of his own songs. The show reached its finale with a powerful rendition of “Legend” from Drake’s 2015 mixtape “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.”
