Ryan Gosling Reacted To The #NotMyKen Criticism In Barbie

Internet users expressed their disappointment that the 42-year-old actor is ‘too old’ to play Ken. Now Ryan Gosling reacted to it.

People are eagerly waiting to see Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starrer ‘Barbie.’ However, some individuals are unhappy that Ryan Gosling has chosen to play Ken. The internet thinks he’s too young for the part.

Ryan has now reacted to such criticism. He considers this criticism to be hypocritical and says nothing else. He’s reminding the detractors that Ken has never enjoyed popularity in the Barbie universe. Ken has no compelling backstory and only enhances the aesthetic. The criticism Ryan Gosling received online about being undeserving of Ken is not something he is taking seriously.

In an interview with GQ, Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the live-action adaptation of “Barbie” lore, justified his selection for the role. Given that nobody has ever respected Ken before, the “La La Land” actor is startled by the righteousness of fans. Since Ken has no fanfare to begin with, the viewer is not intended to care about him.

Ryan Gosling went for a stroll in his backyard while he considered the opportunity to portray Ken in Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie.” He discovered a Ken doll with its face in the mud, as if it were meant to be a sign. The ‘La La Land’ actor texted Gerwig the image of Ken with his face covered in dirt and accepted to star in her film to redeem Ken’s reputation.
