Dwayne Johnson Still Receives “$5 Million Per Year From WWE For An Accident

Dwayne Johnson The rock faced financial issues after his WrestleMania match with John Cena, which resulted in him getting emergency surgery.

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most famous faces in movies today, and he’s already amassed a huge fan following by portraying Luke Hobbs in the Fast and Furious movies, among other famous roles.  There was a time when John Cena asked Dwayne Johnson to leave WWE and later decided to pursue his entire career in Hollywood. He then appeared at Wrestlemania XXVIII and 29 and was successful in defeating Cena in the first match. However, Cena defeated Johnson in round 29, and Johnson suffered torn tendons and a hernia.

The Rock also talked about his injury, saying that he tore his abductor tendon along with his rectus tendon and pelvis. He further said that I then found out that I had three wonderful hernia tears. There was a lot of funny swelling in the cash and prize area for the first week and a half, those were sexy times. It’s a very funny pain to go through.

Due to his injuries, Dwayne Johnson incurred significant losses, and his father Rocky acknowledged that this had an impact on his son’s financial situation.
His injuries delayed the filming of one of his projects, and he lost a lot of money for the same.

Johnson had to undergo surgery, and the film set was shut down for three weeks. After all his losses, he earned $5 million from WWE, which was quite helpful to him at the time. The fact that he is still receiving compensation for an injury that has no longer affected his career or physical strength has drawn criticism. The Rock isn’t going back into the WWE ring, though.
