Rihanna and A$ap Rocky are all set to welcome their first bundle of joy, with Rihanna’s due date right around the corner. The couple has been going through some emotional turmoil lately, with news of their break-up making rounds on the internet. While the parents-to-be made sure to smash all the rumours when both were spotted in Riri’s native Barbados, Rihanna and A$ap didn’t look anything like a couple who were on the verge of separation. In fact, the two were spotted hugging and looked very much in love.
The couple returned from their short trip to LAX on their private jet clueless about what was about to happen. As they landed, A$ap by multiple agencies for a video shooting that took place in 2021. With Rihanna sporting her baby bump, it is obvious that the couple was planning for a cute baby shower. It was revealed how the two had planned for the baby shower in Los Angeles but it had to be cancelled as the baby daddy got arrested.
Although, Rocky was released on a $550,000 bail on Wednesday but the legal proceedings took all the time, taking away the celebration of their little one. A source revealed how Rihanna is mentally drained because of the recent ordeal and has been upset for the past couple of days.
“Rihanna was there when Rocky was arrested and has been crying non-stop.” revealed the source. “She’s heavily pregnant and these are very serious accusations, it’s a nightmare scenario for her. It was meant to be Rihanna’s baby shower in LA on Wednesday night but they had to cancel. Rihanna was very, very upset and stressed by Rocky’s arrest. It’s not the best time for her to be on such an emotional rollercoaster.”
Apparentky, Rocky was arrested as he shot an acquaintance as the two got into an argument. The bullet grazed the victim’s hand as a result, Rocky has been filed with the necessary charges. Till the legal proceedings are underway, the celebrations have been put to a halt. Rihanna and A$ap had been dating for quite some time now and Riri always wanted to be a mother.

On being asked if she would first get married before having a child or not, she had said, “Who the f–k says it has to be that way? I’m certainly not gonna let that get in the way of me being a mom. They’re going to teach me more than I could ever teach them. And I want them to go for it. I want to see who they are in the world, who they become. Because I’m just here to keep them on the rails — a passenger as much as the driver.”
