Priyanka Chopra Jonas exclusively reveals that she wanted to “date” her now-husband Nick Jonas after watching his music video Close!
The Bollywood actress revealed to a leading magazine, “The first thing I do in the morning is put on music,”
She further added, “My life has always been pretty musical, and now with Nick it’s completely musical. I decided to date him after seeing the video for ‘Close,’ where his shirt comes off. So that song is my favourite.”
In the 2016 music video of Close, Nick is seen singing and dancing in an empty warehouse with Tove Lo. Nick begins the video wearing a jacket and a pair of combat boots, but as the song gets to the climax, he and Tove Lo are both stripped down.
Towards the end the two are on the floor in their undergarments. Maybe Priyanka found that scene really romantic.
As we all know, Priyanka and Nick started their romance on Twitter as Nick slid into her DMs. That’s when they started dating. They even attended the Met Gala together and were spotted cosying up together in public, and the rest is history.
The two lovebirds will soon be seen hosting a sangeet show on Amazon Prime. Chopra also revealed that she will be sharing the screen with Game of Thrones star Richard Madden for a Russo Brothers project.
