Netflix released Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2 on July 1, and actor Noah Schnapp, who plays Will Byers, is already overwhelmed with emotion. On June 30, a day before the release, Noah, 17, posted a photo of himself sobbing on his Instagram Story with the caption, “Happy stranger things finale.” Fans are concerned since it didn’t appear like the ending was very joyous.
“Ok somebody tells me why Noah Schnapp is crying on his story saying ‘happy stranger things finale’ IS WILL DYING ?!?!” one concerned fan wrote on Twitter sometime after Noah posted the image. “bro why’d Noah Schnapp post a pic of him crying abt the finale… if will dies- I stg,” wrote another user who believes that the Upside Down must’ve taken Will away for real this time. “Why is @noah_schnapp crying on his insta?!!! I’m sooo nervous for #StrangerThings4 vol 2,” wrote another user.
Noah previously told The Wrap that he expects one of the series’ teenage major characters would be killed off at some point. “Well, one of us will die,” he told the outlet after actress Millie Bobby Brown revealed the group is ‘afraid’ one of them will die. Noah then reiterated his theory, stating, “100 per cent. And more. They need to kill off some people. It’s so big.” Stranger Things’ fourth season premiered on May 27, and Noah expressed thanks for the long-awaited season’s journey.
“Thanks to the best cast and crew for pouring their lives into this show and creating a masterpiece,” he said with a few of the production photographs and videos. Nancy was cursed by Vecna as the season came to a close, and her companions descended into the Upside Down to rescue her. Of course, that’s just one aspect of the complex plot; Eleven is still attempting to determine how to deal with the dangerous enemy while her adopted father, Hopper, remains stranded in Russia.
Netflix and the Duffer Brothers made an announcement regarding Season 5 in February of this year. Recently, the Duffer Brothers have even hinted at potential plot details for the next instalment. According to them, there may be a time leap and more information will be revealed regarding Upside Down’s beginning, background, and legend.
