Keanu Reeves To Join ‘Sonic The Hedgehog 3’ As Shadow?

As per reports the Canadian actor is all set to lend his voice to Shadow in Paramount's Sonic The Hedgehog 3.

Keanu Reeves is concentrating on doing roles that are more recent in craft. In the next movie Sonic the Hedgehog 3, the well-known action-thriller actor will be lending his voice to Shadow. He joins a cast that features Jim Carrey as the evil Dr. Robotnik and Ben Schwartz as Sonic.

Shadow, an anthropomorphic hedgehog in the games, is kind of Sonic’s antihero, according to a Variety article. Paramount has not officially verified Keanu’s casting. In addition to the Matrix series, Reeves has starred in a number of classic movies, including Bram Stoker’s Dracula, My Own Private Idaho, and Speed. His next role will be opposite Ana de Armas in the John Wick spinoff Ballerina.

In addition, Keanu Reeves will appear with Aziz Ansari, Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, and Sandra Oh as co-stars in Good Fortune. The most recent Sonic movie is being directed by Jeff Fowler, who also directed the previous two Sonic films. On December 20, 2024 – Sonic 3 will make its theatrical debut.

The series is among Paramount’s most lucrative, with the earlier movies bringing in enormous sums of money at the box office. A staggering $725.2 million was made at the global box office by Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
