Katy Perry Wants This Country Music Artist To Replace Her As Judge In American Idol?

The popstar has revealed about the Country Music Artist which she feels would be her perfect replacement for the American Idol.

When Katy Perry leaves American Idol after seven seasons, she has ideas about who should take her place! In a recent interview with E! News on April 16, the pop star disclosed that she believes a country music star who appears to be getting more followers every day would be a great fit to take her place at the judge’s table.

Despite the fact that Katy’s replacement is yet unknown, she acknowledged that she believes Jelly Roll would make an amazing addition to the Idol judges. “I gotta say Jelly Roll was crazy when he came on the show,” she told E! “I was convinced at anything he said. He could run for president, he could be my pastor, I might go back to church for him. He could sell me anything.”

After revealing about her fondness for the Need A Favor singer, Perry reassured that he would be perfect with Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie. “And to have any of these guys plus Jelly on the show would be amazing. I love you, Jelly!” she said.

Katy Perry also informed that she would be quitting Idol after season 22. “I love Idol so much. It’s connected with me like the heart of America. But I feel like I need to go out and feel that pulse, that pulse to my own beat,” she expressed during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. “I have some things planned for this year.”
