Are they really dating?
Euphoria co-stars Jacob Elordi and Zendaya always maintained that they’re “just good friends” amidst dating rumours for the past couple of months. Photos of Jacob and Zendaya hanging out, grabbing juice and even sharing a sweet moment where Jacob kisses Zendaya on the forehead are doing the rounds on the internet and fans are convinced that they’re more than just friends. Zendaya, however, is known to always keep her private life under wraps and as for Jacob, he allegedly just got out of a relationship with Kissing Booth co-star Joey King.
Last week, Zendaya and Elordi attended the American Australian Association Arts Awards, where she even presented an award to him and called him her “best friend” during her speech.
Jacob, too, ‘friend-zoned’ the songstress during an interview with a magazine. “She’s like my sister,” he shared. “Zendaya is an amazing creative, you know? She’s super dope to work with. She’s an incredible artist and a very caring person to all of us. But we’re all really close. There is not one weak link in that show. We’ve spent so much time together and everyone is just so cool to work with. Sam Levinson is just a genius and working with him, it was just like electricity all the time. I was in awe. Like a kid in a candy shop.”
The rumours of Jacob Elordi and Zendaya dating first sparked when the two “friends” were spotted vacationing together in Greece. They even went to Australia together back in November to attend the GQ Australia’s Men of the Year awards.
Are Rue Bennett and Nate Jacobs (Jacob and Zendaya’s onscreen names) dating in real life? Guess we’ll just have to wait and watch!
