Friends Star Courteney Cox Shows ‘How Real New Yorkers Eat Pizza’ In Hilarious Video

Courteney Cox hilariously shows off a step-by-step demonstration of 'how real New Yorkers eat pizza'.

Courteney Cox recently demonstrated ‘how real New Yorkers eat pizza.’ The Friends alum took to social media and shared the video as she sat at a table in a cosy and quaint pizzeria alongside several customers in a small dining room. With a slightly sarcastic tone, she jokingly gives step-by-step instructions on the unusual ways New Yorkers eat pizza.

However, in the end, it turned out to be a joke, considering most of her instructions were made up just for laughs. She begins the video by saying, “A lot of people not from New York come into the city and can’t wait to have New York-style pizza. And they don’t know how to eat it.”

With a ‘slice’ sitting in front of her, the Birmingham, Alabama native grabs a napkin and begins instruction number one. ‘First what you do is dab it to get all the oil off,’ she said while looking straight into the camera, as customers around her enjoyed their meals without interruption. ‘And then authentic New Yorkers like to cut the tip off and do a little bite at a time,’ she explains while cutting off a piece and eating it with a fork and knife.

Using a fork and knife, any real New York pizza connoisseur would realize that this is just a mock demonstration for a good laugh, considering that they only use their hands to eat pizza. However, just a few hours after posting her mock pizza-eating demonstration video, Cox took back to her Instagram page to congratulate her former Friends co-star Matthew Perry on the success of his new memoir.

For the unversed, Perry’s new book titled Friends, Lovers And The Big Terrible Thing, which documented his rise to fame and fortune, as well as his alcohol and drug addiction, shot to the top of The New York Times’ bestseller list nearly a month ago. Cox shared a photo of herself sitting on a couch ready for the memoir, captioning, “So proud of my friend @mattyperry4 for writing this brave book and making the New York Times Best Sellers list 4 weeks in a row!”
