After a long wait, the trailer of Fast and Furious 9 has finally been released. The trailer depicts tension between Dominic Toretto (portrayed by Vin Diesel) and his little brother Jakob (portrayed by John Cena).

The trailer begins with Dom saying, “I used to live my life a quarter mile at a time. But things change, I am a father now,” followed by a scene of his son Brian and his love interest Letty (portrayed by Michelle Rodriguez) accompanied by a haunting version of Charlie Puth’s See You Again  in the background making us remember the original Brian –Paul Walker.

From the trailer, what we know for sure is that the audience can expect impressive action sequences and lots of surprises.

What sets F9, directed by Justin Lin, apart from the previous instalments is that Dom is always seen fighting FOR his family, but not in this one. Here, Diesel’s character is all set to fight his, never mentioned before, estranged brother Jakob.

The trailer also shows familiar characters and confirms that the character Han Lue (portrayed by Sung Kang)  is alive and wasn’t  killed by Deckard Shaw (portrayed by Jason Statham).

The film is all set to hit theatres on 22nd May, 2020. In India, the film happens to release on Eid and will clash with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s Laxmmi Bomb and Bollywood actor Salman Khan‘s Radhe at the box office.
