Dua Lipa’s two-year relationship with Anwar Hadid is reportedly over. According to multiple reports, the Electricity singer, 26, and the 22-year-old model failed to recover their romance despite taking a break and engaging in crisis talks. Numerous sources have claimed that the couple is officially done with a source confirming it to celebrity gossip site Deux Moi.
Earlier this month, it was reported that their relationship was on the rocks. The pop sensation and the younger brother of Gigi and Bella Hadid, 22, have not been seen together for almost eight weeks due to their busy work schedules, claimed The Sun. Meanwhile, Anwar recently said in a cryptic Instagram post he is grateful for loved ones “guiding my steps, allowing me to learn to be happy with myself.”
The Levitating singer and model began dating in June 2019 and the couple has given fans a glimpse of their romance on social media ever since. Talking about her romance with Anwar to Rolling Stone magazine, Dua Lipa said earlier this year, “I’m very comfortable in the relationship, more so than any others.” Dua also discussed how the couple spent part of 2020 isolating on Anwar’s family farm in Pennsylvania, admitting that she loved the quiet pace of life and also used the opportunity to improve her horse-riding skills.

The hitmaker also spoke about boyfriend Anwar in a recent issue of British Vogue, saying that she tries to balance ‘being so excited and in love,’ while keeping their romance private. Dua told the magazine of posting their relationship on Instagram, “We have all these incredible memories and experiences, and if there’s something that we want to share together, then OK that’s fun.”
Singer Dua Lipa continues, “But at the same time, we’re quite private, we’ll only show you as much as we want you to see. It’s a little bit of give and take, trying to find the right balance of being so excited and being in love, and wanting to share that with the people around me, but at the same time not wanting to put too much out there.”
