Dua Lipa was forced to cancel another gig as she continues to suffer from laryngitis. The 26-year-old UK-born pop star took to her Instagram stories to share that she would not be appearing at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball in New York as scheduled as she is on vocal rest ‘per doctor’s orders.’ However, the Jingle Ball cancellation comes less than a week after she expressed how ‘heartbroken’ she was to miss the iHeartRadio KIIS FM Jingle Ball in Los Angeles due to her condition.
The Don’t Stop Now singer began the note writing, “As most of you know I’m currently suffering from laryngitis and have been on vocal rest per my doctor’s orders.” She continues, “I was hoping for a faster recovery, but unfortunately, I’m still under the weather and unable to perform at the iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball. I’m extremely disappointed, I was really looking forward to kicking off the holiday season by performing at this year’s Jingle Ball.”
Meanwhile, Be the One singer wrote in conclusion, “I’m so sorry I won’t be there to celebrate the season with all my fans, but I hope you enjoy the rest of the amazing lineup the show has planned for you all. ‘Sending my love to you all!” However, Dua Lipa had first revealed that she was suffering from laryngitis last week as she penned a statement.

She had then said in the statement that she was ‘heartbroken’ to cancel the LA-based Jingle Ball gig and shared that she was on ‘vocal rest for the next few days in order to fully heal.’ She had posted a snap from bed in pajamas, writing ‘Nothing like flying for 11 hours to get to LA for work and have to spend my days in bed on vocal rest,’ with a string of sad faces.
Proving to be having a tough week, it was revealed that she and her boyfriend of two years Anwar Hadid are in ‘crisis,’ though neither has addressed a breakup or the state of the relationship publicly. Meanwhile, a source earlier stated, “Their relationship is going through a crisis and appears to be on the rocks.” “The couple floated the idea about putting the brakes on their romance last month as traveling so much and being apart is proving tough,” the source added.
