Canadian rapper, singer, and actor, Drake has been reportedly ordered to sit for deposition in connection to XXXTentacion’s murder. The lawyers of one of the prime suspects in XXXTentacion’s murder-Dedrick Williams- recently revealed the names of several artists who could be involved in the 2018 shooting. And the shocking news come to the internet that, Drake was one of them included in the loss and he is now being ordered to appear before the court.
After Tentacion’s murder, rumors started doing the rounds that Drake might be behind the fatal shooting. And now, Mauricio Padilla who is a defense attorney claims that the Certified Lover Boy is somehow involved in this murder case. In order to prove his assertion, he reportedly tried to subpoena Drake last month. However, Drake failed to appear before the court for deposition on the scheduled date of January 27, as per a document on the scheduled date. He has now been ordered to sit for a residue this month via Zoom call. And if he fails to do so, the rapper will be reportedly held in contempt.
For the untitled, in 2017, there was an ongoing rivalry between Drake and
XXXTentacion, wherein the latter alleged that Drake pulled off flows from his popular track Look at Me and used it on his KMT.
It was in 2018, during a robbery XXXTenatacion was killed. The three suspects in the murder were named, Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Michael Boatwright have been accused of shooting the rapper in Florida outside a motorcycle store.
