Demi Lovato Breaks Down While Performing ‘Anyone’ At The Grammy Awards 2020

Demi Lovato makes a comeback and performed at the 62nd Grammy Awards making it her first live performance in years. She perfomed her new song ‘Anyone’ and left the crowd in awe. The crowd gave Demi a standing ovation at the end of her performance.

Demi Lovato looked absolutely “confident” as she took to the 62nd Grammy Awards stage on Sunday night and made a triumphant comeback. Demi looked gorgeous in her custom-made Christian Siriano gown paired with a Zana Bayne corset and Lesilla shoes.

The Stone Cold singer sang a vulnerable new song titled “Anyone.” The songstress reportedly wrote the song back in the month of July in 2018 before her overdose.

The 27-year-old singer was all set for her performance, but as she sang the first line she got emotional and choked up, but the crowd cheered her on and she started once again and this time, she truly touched the hearts of every single person present in the room. Towards the end of the performance tears were seen streaming down her face as the audience gave her a standing ovation after her vulnerable performance.

The heartbreaking lyrics of the vulnerable and beautiful song read, “I feel stupid when I sing Nobody’s listening to me…/ I feel stupid when I pray So, why am I praying anyway? If nobody’s listening…/ Anyone, please send me anyone Lord, is there anyone? I need someone…” got the audience really emotional.

A few days before her grand comeback performance a source close to Demi revealed to a leading news portal, “Even though it’s been a while since she’s performed live, for her, it’s like riding a bike. She wants it to perfect. Demi is just so excited and she can’t wait to show the world what she has in store.”

Well, her performance was indeed, more than perfect!
