The versatile singer and actress Camila Cabello stars as the girlfriend of the lead character and revealed she didn’t have to audition for the part in a film directed by Chiwetel Ejiofor named “Rob Peace.” The film premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival on January 22.

The director of the film approached Camila Cabello after seeing her commendable performance in “Cinderella.” Ejiofor was struck by her charisma, and he knew that she would be perfect for the character of Naya, the girlfriend of Rob Peace, who’s a bright Yale student who was raised in a tough neighborhood in New Jersey.

Actress Camila Cabello, who stepped foot into acting via Cinderella in 2021, attended Sundance and promoted her film Rob Peace, in which she co-stars alongside Jay Will and Chiwetel Ejiofor, with the latter serving as the movie’s director as well.
