Britney Spears announced last month only that she is expecting her first child with fiance Sam Asghari. However, things didn’t go well and the singer has a miscarriage. Recently, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari have announced that they suffered a pregnancy loss. Britney shared the news on Saturday, May 14, while noting, “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy.”
The singer continues, “This is a devastating time for any parent. Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along however we were overly excited to share the good news.” Britney further added, “Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support.” The Toxic singer concluded her message by saying, “We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment.”
Britney shared her pregnancy news with the world in April, through Instagram. She shared that she felt unusual after gaining a lot of weight when she came back from a short trip with her fiancé Sam. Spears felt that it was just a ‘food baby’ but decided to take a test which turned out to be positive. After a few days, she also shared a video of herself playing on the beach with her ‘small fetus.’
Earlier, Britney also spoke about the troubles she faced while she was pregnant with her boys, Jayden and Sean with her ex, Kevin Federline. She vented, “Women didn’t talk about it back then some people considered it dangerous if a woman complained like that with a baby inside her but now women talk about it every day… thank Jesus we don’t have to keep that pain a reserved proper secret. This time I will be doing yoga every day!!! Spreading lots of joy and love.”
Britney Spears’ fiance Sam Asghari was also excited about her pregnancy and took to Instagram to announce the news on the same day that Britney did. He wrote, “Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something I have always looked forward to and I don’t take it lightly. It is the most important job I will ever do.”
