Barbie Becomes Highest Grossing Warner Bros Movie Replaces Dark Knight

Margot Robbie starrer Barbie has now replaced the 2008 film "The Dark Knight" to become the highest-grossing Warner Bros movie.

Barbie: Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling starrer Barbie has been breaking records at the box office. As per the latest reports, the film has now replaced Christopher Nolan’s 2008 film “The Dark Knight” to become the highest-grossing Warner Bros movie.

Barbie Becomes Highest Grossing Warner Bros Movie

As per the trade reports, Barbie currently sits at a domestic total of approx. $537 million and around $1.2 billion with its worldwide box office collection. Barbie surpassed many all-time Hollywood hits like Batman Begins sequel which earned around $534million domestically. It also surpassed Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman and Dark Knight to become one of the Highest grossing Warner Bros movies.

Meanwhile, Margot Robbie who is the star and also the producer of the film has apparently made a good amount of money from the film. Reportedly, the actress and producer has taken home around $50 million as her salary. While with the improving performance of her film, her pay is also expected to rise.

While Nolan’s movie “Oppenheimer” which was released on the same weekend, also showed great box office earnings. Nolan’s R-rated film grossed approx. $266 million domestically and $650 million worldwide at the box office.
