The Merry Happy Whatever star talked Christmas dinner disaster, awkward kiss with Zac Efron, being ghosted by Cole Sprouse and more.
When asked about her least favorite Disney franchise, Ashley honestly answered, “I’m just not a Star Wars fan. When I was younger, I tried watching it and I fell asleep. I haven’t tried watching it since.”
The Disney alum was further asked, which Sprouse twin she’d take on a deserted island if she were stuck there for three weeks, to which she cheekily replied, “You know, they’re both like my little brothers. Do you know who texts me back all the time? Dylan Sprouse. He’s the one who texts me back. Cole, sometimes silence, so I’m taking Dylan. That’s for just ghosting on me Cole!”
On being asked about her most awkward Christmas dinner, Tisdale revealed that she was a “little tipsy” when she went for Midnight Mass with her boyfriend at the time’s family when she was 19 and kept giggling the whole time.
The show seemed to have saved the “worst” for the last by asking Ashley the most controversial question “worst on-screen kiss” and giving her an option to avoid answering the question by drinking the worst drink – a mixture of Ginger Ale & Hot Sauce!
The 34-year-old didn’t back down and chose to answer the question by sharing the whole story, “I had to kiss Zac Efron on The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, and it’s the worst because I’m so close to him and he’s like my brother. At the time, he was used to acting on Warner Bros, which is The CW, and we were on Disney Channel, and he tried kissing me with his tongue, and I was like, ‘Get away from me!’ I closed my mouth so fast. I was like, ‘This is Disney Channel! We don’t kiss like that on Disney Channel!’ It’s just weird when you’re so close to somebody. We had already done High School Musical, I had known him for years before. That is why it was the worst. We are just too close.”
Well, Ashley Tisdale’s honesty sure is like a breath of fresh air!
