Today seems to be the best day for the Jonas brothers and their fans. As today they were honored by the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and also they announced their album. Get ready because a new Jonas Brothers album is on the way!
After reuniting and releasing their album Happiness Begins in 2019, the brothers have been teasing a new project for 2020. Now we finally have a name and a release date. The brothers received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Nick spilled the beans in his acceptance speech. “We are delighted to announce today that our new album ‘The Album’ will be out on May 5th,” he said, adding, “We can’t wait to see you on tour later this year see.”
The Album
The brothers have been teasing a lot of new music for a while. Following the release of their 2020 single What a Man Gotta Do, Kevin, Joe and Nick took the Grammys stage to perform a new song titled Five More Minutes. They also released a collaboration with Marshmello in 2021 called Leave Me Before You Love Me.
During a stint on Live With Kelly and Ryan in July 2022, Kevin said they were working on the new one and would have the album for “a couple of years.” He quipped, “We’re prouder of this music than we’ve ever been of anything we’ve done.” When asked about a possible release date, Kevin said, “It’s hard to say. “ We’re finishing it… I really don’t know.”

Nick shared a similar sentiment, calling the material his “favorite thing we’ve ever done.” He added, “It’s basically an evolution of the sound in a way that I think is really natural for us, and it feels like a great next step.” In a September 2022 interview with POPSUGAR, Joe reiterated his feelings and said the band’s new music heralds a “whole new era”.
Their new album will be called “The Album”. “The Album” will be released on May 5, according to the band’s Instagram.
