Day after Hailey Bieber’s uncle Alec Baldwin accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during the filming of his Western film Rust, she took to Instagram to pen down a note on the tragedy. She shared a post on Saturday on Instagram with her 38.8 million followers. The 24-year-old supermodel said she is ‘absolutely heartbroken’ over Hutchins’ untimely death.
She begins her note, “Sending all my love to the family of Halyna Hutchins. This is a truly unimaginable and devastating tragedy.” “My thoughts are also with Joel Souza as he recovers. I am absolutely heartbroken for everyone involved,’ hailey bieber instagrad added in white letters against a black background. Bieber joined a growing list of celebrities who have offered condolences in the midst of the unthinkable accident.
Meanwhile, on Thursday night hailey bieber father, Stephen Baldwin, requested prayers through Instagram. “Asking for your prayers tonight friends not much can be said other than please pray for all involved in the wake of this tragic accident thank you,” wrote Stephen, 55. In his caption, he cited Psalm 91 which reads in part, “I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
However, hours after penning the down, hailey bieber seemed to be trying to keep her mind off the tragedy as she and her husband justin bieber (hailey bieber justin bieber) stepped out to watch the Los Angeles Lakers play the Phoenix Suns at LA’s Staples Center. The 24-year-old model and the 27-year-old pop superstar were joined at their court-side seats by Hailey’s good friend Kendall Jenner, 25. The love-up couple shared their prime seats with Hailey’s longtime pal Kendall Jenner. Joining the gang was Kendall’s friend Taco (born Travis Bennett), an Odd Future member and a regular collaborator with Tyler the Creator.

For unversed, Alec Baldwin fired a prop gun which was supposed to be unloaded, but when he pulled the trigger it shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and director Joel Souza. Although the gun has been described as having a ‘live’ round, that doesn’t necessarily indicate that it was loaded with a bullet, as other forms of debris in the gun could have been fired out of it. Hutchins was airlifted to the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque and was later pronounced dead, while Souza was rushed to a nearby hospital and has since been released. However, Alec Baldwin was later spotted in tears while speaking to someone on phone.
