Emilia Clarke Feels Annoyed Thinking About Game Of Thrones Finale Season

Emilia Clarke who played the character of Daenerys Targaryen finally agreed that the ending left her annoyed.

Game of thrones controversial yet disappointing finale season which still haunts the true fans of the show. After being in a top spot for years the finale was widely criticized for lousy writing. Emilia Clarke who played the character of Daenerys Targaryen finally agreed that the ending left her annoyed.

Talking about her expectations she told, “I knew how I felt when I first read it, and I tried, at every turn, not to consider too much what other people might say, but I did always consider what the fans might think–because we did it for them, and they were the ones who made us successful, so … it’s just polite, isn’t it?”

Her brutal honesty came out while she was talking about her West End debut as Nina in Chekhov’s The Seagull. Her character was declared antagonist by the end of the show which was killed off after being stabbed by Jon Snow. Sharing her dissatisfaction, Emilia stated, “Yeah, I felt for her. I really felt for her. And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something? He got away with murder — literally.”

Opening more about her resentment Emilia was expecting more dialogue moments with other characters especially with Cersei Lannister also she wanted the finale season to be a little longer, “The sensational nature of the show was, possibly, given a huge amount of airtime because that’s what makes sense. We could have spun it out for a little longer.”

She was upset that her character did not get a happy ending however she’s thankful for being part of such a massive and widely appreciated show.
