Will Aamir and Kareena’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ Have A Sequence On The Babri Masjid Case?

Reports suggest that Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor's 'Laal Singh Chaddha' will have a sequence on the Babri Masjid case.

Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are eagerly waiting for the release of their upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The film is an adaptation of the popular Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ where prominent actor Tom Hanks did marvellous acting. The film was released in the year 1994. Tom Hanks’s acting was applauded by many. He got a lot of appreciation from the audience. In the Hindi remake of the film, Bollywood’s perfectionist Aamir Khan is playing Tom’s character. Whereas, Kareena Kapoor Khan is playing the opposite female lead. Well, the film is making headlines ever since the release date was disclosed. Aamir and Kareena’s fans cannot wait to watch the film in theatres which is slated for 12th August 2022. 

Now, if reports are to be believed, then Aamir’s film is expected to pit its lead protagonist against the backdrop of the ill-fated Babri Masjid case. The reports also suggested that the actor’s character will change the key moments of Indian history or even impact the outcome. A very similar plot device might be seen in this sequence of the film. The Oscar-winning Hollywood classic traces the evolution of Hanks’ eponymous character through the annals of American history. 

The release date of the film was earlier slated for April 14, 2022. Unfortunately, due to the release of  Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’ the makers decided to postpone the release as it would clash with it. Directed by Advait Chandan and written by Atul Kulkarni, the movie also features Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in pivotal roles.
