Sham Kaushal Revealed That Is Health Issues Arose After He Finished Shooting Farhan Akhtar's Film Lakshya In Ladakh

Vicky Kaushal is a successful Bollywood actor, and his father, Sham Kaushal, is a renowned stuntman in the industry. However, there was a difficult time when Vicky’s father was diagnosed with cancer in 2003, and the doctors gave him a low chance of survival. Vicky and his brother Sunny were still young at that time.

During an interview with Rajshri Unplugged, Sham shared that his health issues arose after he finished shooting Farhan Akhtar’s film Lakshya in Ladakh. He said, “Upon my return, I experienced several stomach complications, leading to my admission to Nanavati Hospital in October. After a biopsy, I received a cancer diagnosis, and the doctors told me my chances of survival were less.”

During this challenging period, Vicky’s father was in his late 40s, and he prayed for peace rather than happiness, understanding the gravity of the situation. He expressed, “I have worked hard to achieve a lot at 48 years old. If you choose to save me, please don’t let me become weak. I cannot live as a fragile person.”

However, after praying, his fear diminished, and he underwent multiple surgeries while staying in the hospital for 50 days. He shared, “After being told that I wouldn’t survive, I experienced the best days of my life. I achieved success and won numerous awards after 2003. My best films were made during that time, and my children also found success.”

Sham Kaushal began his career as a stuntman in the industry during the 1970s and eventually became one of the great stuntmen. His sons, Vicky and Sunny, followed in his footsteps and became actors. It’s worth mentioning that Vicky Kaushal is married to Katrina Kaif.
