Director Anil Sharma’s son Utkarsh Sharma is making a strong comeback to the big screens with Gadar 2. Utkarsh made his acting debut as a child artist 22 years ago in Gadar. In 2018, he made his debut as a lead actor in film Genius. Before starting his career as a lead actor, Utkarsh worked as a writer and assistant director to learn the nuances of filmmaking. At the age of 15, Utkarsh worked as an assistant for Salman Khan’s film Veer. Not many people know that Utkarsh broke Salman’s nose while on set and later apologized for it.
In an exclusive interview, Utkarsh told, “I was working as an assistant on the sets of Veer. I was 14-15 years old and I was just learning how to give a clap. Cameraman asked me to bring the clap very close to Salman. Just when I gave the clap, Salman sir’s nose came in between. Even he was lost in his thoughts.”
“Salman sir didn’t get angry. But I kept saying sorry. His makeup man was giving me looks,” he added.
Utkarsh also mentioned that Salman Khan is a very sweet person and has inspired him a lot.
Utkarsh Sharma will be seen alongside Simratt Kaur, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in Gadar 2. The film is directed by Anil Sharma and will hit the theatres on August 11.
