When Dharmendra Abused His Servant, The Actor’s Mother Called The Servant And Said, ‘Tu Bhi Gali De’

Sunny Deol In A Podcast Reveals His Grandmother And Childhood Memories

Sunny Deol is currently basking in the glory of his blockbuster film, Gadar 2, which is rewriting the record books at the box office. Recently, the acclaimed actor made a captivating appearance on the Ranveer Show, where he delved into cherished memories of his grandmother and his formative years.

In a heartfelt tribute, Sunny reminisced, “Dadi has had such a great influence on me. She was such a giving woman. She’d easily scold her own if they were wrong. I remember, one time my father got angry at the servant and abused him. Biji heard this, and she was furious. She called the servant over and told him ‘Tu bhi gali de (abuse him in return)’. That’s the kind of person she was. She’dnever let go a wrong just because one of her own did it. These are the people I grew up around; my grandfather, my granny, my mom. I always say that a child is the output of where you grow, what your family is all about.”

With a hint of nostalgia, Sunny recounted a youthful misadventure, saying, “I had three fingers stamped on my face, because that’s how big my face was at the time… Like any other child, I did naughty things. One day, my father caught me and slapped me across the face. Later he was so sorry, Biji and mom got angry at him again.”

Reflecting on his carefree childhood, Sunny added with a smile, “Those were the days of unbridled fun and endless play. I’d return home with an assortment of childhood misdemeanors, only to face the wrath of my loving mother.”

Switching gears to the monumental success of Gadar 2, Sunny Deol disclosed that the film, directed by Anil Sharma, is edging closer to the monumental milestone of crossing the Rs 500 crore mark at the box office. The movie’s triumphant journey has left fans and the industry alike in awe of its staggering achievements.
