The Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, once sought advice from the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, and the counsel he received left him shaken. In a candid podcast with AIB on YouTube, the actor revealed an interesting encounter with Big B. On one occasion, as he was about to step on stage, Shah Rukh asked Amitabh what he does before going on stage, to which the Piku actor replied, “I check my zippers.”
However, it was the second piece of advice that Amitabh imparted, which left the Pathaan actor feeling apprehensive. ‘Now that you’ve become a big star, whatever you do you’ll always be in the wrong. Toh pehli cheeze aesa karna ki kabhi jo ghalti ho jaaye toh haath jod k maafi maang lena. I was young and I said, ‘But Amitji what if I didn’t do any wrong’? He said, ‘Wahi toh keh raha hoon, maafi maang lena. Aur jaha jao jhook k baat karna.”
Amitabh further warned,”Agar tumko koi battameeze kare, tumko mukka maare toh tum usko wapas mukka maroge toh pata hai kya hoga? I said, ‘Kya?’ ‘Tum drunk the’. I said, ‘But main drunk nahi tha.’ ‘Nahi tum the. Paisa tumhare sir pe chad gaya hai. Tum illegal kisam ke aadmi ho, tum corrupt ‘. So I got so scared I didn’t want to be a star. I said, ‘Really? Yeh sab hojayega mere saath toh main kya karsakta hoon He said, ‘Kuch bhi nahi . And then he just went quiet and sat down.”
Switching gears to Shah Rukh’s latest film, Jawan, it has been receiving an abundance of appreciation for its powerful trailer, recently released. The action-packed film, featuring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, and others in lead roles, is directed by Atlee Kumar. Fans are eagerly anticipating the movie’s release on September 7th.
