The much-adored couple of Bollywood Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are expecting an addition to their family. On Monday, the Gal Gadot actress to her Instagram and announced the news of her pregnancy which took the internet by storm. On Monday, Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt announced the news about her pregnancy with a pic of herself with her husband Ranbir Kapoor with her. Sharing the picture she wrote, “Our baby.. coming soon,” the actress wrote.” While amidst her new announcement many of her fans have now come up with her throwback video from Youtube in which the actress could be seen talking about having two kids.
In a 2019 video posted on the official Youtube channel of Alia Bhatt, the Gal Gadot actress spilled the beans about having kids during her game with her best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. In the video the two were seen playing a fun challenge of ‘How well do you know your best friend’ where both have to guess things about each other. In one round Alia Bhatt was asked over how many kids does her friend wants? To this both the girls answered 2 for each other, looking at Akansha’s response the actress agreed with her answer and said “Oh yes, 2 boys.”
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir have been receiving buckets full of wishes from family, friends, and actors across the Bollywood industry. Alia Bhatt’s parents also wished the actress, in an interview Mahesh Bhatt opened up about her pregnancy and said, “Ah, my baby is going to have a baby! I am so happy for Ranbir and Alia. May our ‘tribe’ increase. And now I have to prepare for the most important role of my life: The role of a Grandfather. This is going to be a grand debut.” On the other hand, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan also showed her excitement for the addition to the family and said, “We are overjoyed and overwhelmed. Words really don’t do justice to this moment. I am just so so happy for Ranbir and Alia and for all of us. There is nothing greater or more profound in this world than bringing another life into it.”
On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be together seen in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy film ‘Brahmastra’. It is scheduled for theatrical release on Sep 9. Ranbir will also be seen in ‘Shamshera’ alongside Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.
