‘By Marrying Aishwarya They Won’t Get Pious Kids’, What Abdul Razzaq Meant?

Amitabh Bachchan posted on X mentioning Abdul Razzaq. He wrote, “For this has more meaning than any printed word", highlighting the fact that spoken words are direct first-hand proof.

Former Pakistani Cricket Player Abdul Razzaq’s statement has created a controversy. Abdul Razzaq at an event spoke about famous Indian actress Aishwarya Rai, which made Indian fans angry. Many Indians roasted Abdul for his comment on Aishwarya. Taking note of his comment, Big B Amitabh Bachchan, father in law of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan penned a note on X, humbly made him realise about what he said.

Abdul Razaqq comment on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

As we know, the Pakistani team went back to Pakistan after getting eliminated from the World Cup at a very early stage. Thus, former player Abdul Razzaq on a show was talking about the Pakistan Cricket Board, current team and captain Babar Azam. He also talked about the intentions of the Pakistani Cricket Board. While explaining it, he used the example of Aishwarya Rai without any hesitation. He said, “If one thinks that just by marrying Aishwarya, they will get good pious kids, then it won’t happen.”

By talking like this, he showed his standards and is now getting trolled by many. The other guests who were present there, joined him by laughing at his comment.

What Big B said?

Aishwarya Rai is the wife of actor Abhishek Bachchan and daughter in law of Amitabh Bachchan. Big B posted on X mentioning Abdul Razzaq. He wrote, “For this has more meaning than any printed word.” He wrote the same thing in Hindi too. He was highlighting the fact that spoken words are direct first-hand proof and hold more significance than printed words as they may come from secondary sources. So Big B was trying to say that what Abdul said had a long-lasting impact.

Abdul’s Apology

Abdul Razzaq shared a video on X with his apology for what he had said. In that video he said that whatever he said was a slip of tongue. He didn’t mean to take Aishwarya’s name, but somehow mistakenly it slipped from his mouth. He was really sorry for that.

Though he apologised for his comment, it had already taken his image down on social media.
