Bollywood actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are currently expecting their first child together. The two tied the knot this year in April soon after which the couple announced their pregnancy in June. However, soon after the pregnancy announcement, rumors surfaced stating that the actress was pregnant before her marriage, addressing the same Alia’s sister Shaheen has now reacted to the rumors, here’s what she said-

Speaking with News18, Shaheen said, “I will not speak for her (Alia) because that is her own journey. Anything that she has dealt with internally is completely her journey. Having said that, you can never really please everybody. There is always going to be a negative comment or two out there. And I think living in the public eye, we are all very practised at knowing what to pay heed to and what not to focus on.”
Shaheen added, “It has been a wonderful year for our family in that sense. It has grown tremendously this past year. There is only more joy and happiness to come our way and I am looking forward to that.”
Alia Bhatt And Ranbir Kapoor
The Bollywood couple got married on the 14th of April this year in an intimate ceremony held at Ranbir Kapoor’s residence in Bandra. Later in June Alia announced her pregnancy as she posted a picture of herself and her husband Ranbir Kapoor. The reports stated that the firstborn of the couple will arrive somewhere in between November or December.
Meanwhile, on the work front, both Ranbir and Alia recently appeared in Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra which was a blockbuster hit. Apart from it Ranbir has many films in the pipeline including Animal with Rashmika Mandanna, Luv Ranjan’s next with Shraddha Kapoor, Brahmastra 2, and others. Alia Bhatt on the other hand has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani with Ranveer Singh, Jee Le Zaraa with Priyanka and Katrina, and many other films.
