Vivek Agnihotri Opens Up On Why He Wouldn’t Attend Koffee With Karan, Calls It “Bullsh*t”

Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan is one of the most popular shows in the town. Celebrities from across the industries have graced the couch of his show. However, the Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri who never appeared on the show stated that he wouldn’t attend the show as his life doesn’t revolve around “s*x”

Here’s Why Vivek Agnihotri Would Never Attend Koffee With Karan

Bollywood director Vivek Agnihotri is known for his straightforward and often bold and offensive remarks. In a recent interview with Brut India, the Kashmir Files filmmaker called Karan Johar’s hosted show Koffee With Karan “bullsh*t” while he also stated that he would never appear on the show.

Vivek said, “It depends. I mean, if the kind of show it is right now, definitely, I wouldn’t go because I have nothing to contribute. I mean, I cannot talk, I’m more than middle-aged now. I have two kids. So I’m not… Sex is not the primary concern of my life. And I’ll feel odd sitting over there because it’s so artificial. I am talking to you as well, I can speak on any subject, be it sex or any other subject? We can do that, I have no problems. But that’s the only centre of… so… I am very spiritual, I am not a very sex-centred person, though I enjoy it with my wife. But I am not a … It’s not that my life revolves around only sex and who’s ditching who… and who’s sleeping around with who.”

He further added, “I think it is a bullshit programme also, because… what is it doing? Nobody relates with it, you’re doing it only for your inner circle, for your friends and just to make each other happy, and some channels are paying for it. And people can see that this is a problem, you know. So if people get upset with all these news anchors who are screaming unnecessarily, then I think the both of them are exchanging notes. There is no difference between them,” 

Taapsee Pannu Wouldn’t Appear On Koffee With Karan

While there’s no doubt that Karan Johar’s show Koffee With Karan is often targeted for having s*x chats. Apart from Vivek, Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu also stated that she might not appear at the show as her s*x life isn’t interesting enough. During an Instagram live with Stutee Ghosh of Fever 104, Taapsee expressed her views about Karan Johar’s show, she further stated how the show has now become a validation for actors.

Taapsee said, “it is just a chat show hosted by Karan Johar,” she added, “I have a boring life, what will you ask me? Which linkups, which relationships? All exciting part of my life is out in open. But that’s not exciting enough to be spoken on that kind of show. It can be spoken about on a news talent show.”
