There are selective actors who have their craze on social media and they have succeeded at keeping it as it is. One such actor who has stolen the hearts of many is Vicky Kuashal. With a number of amazing films, like Masaan, Govinda Naam Mera, Lust Stories, Bhoot and so on, he is increasing the level of his performance. Raazi, Uri and Sardar Udham are the best examples of excellent performances by Vicky Kaushal. Since these movies hold historical and patriotic importance, the roles were too fragile, but he managed to give justice to all the characters in these movies.

Having a strong experience of handling biopics, Vicky Kaushal is coming up with another such movie in December 2023. The movie ‘Sam Bahadur’, will release on 1st of December, in which Vicky is playing the character of Sam Manekshaw, India’s first field marshal. The movie is about the life of Sam Manekshaw. It also highlighted the war fought between India and Pakistan during the period of 1971 and the formation of Bangladesh after the war. Vicky’s presence on screen as Sam Manekshaw has already created an aura through its teaser. His voice, body language and attitude in the teaser say that he has made the ultimate efforts to portray this character. It says that to give justice to the character of Sam Manekshaw, the movie has been shot in 13 different locations throughout India.

It is the personal responsibility of an actor, not to tarnish the image of that particular character having historical importance and dignity by any movement or spoken word by an actor. Therefore, playing such roles is not that easy. The media has an eye on an actor’s social status, behaviour, knowledge and every little movement. Vicky Kaushal has proved that he is able to play such roles with the utmost care. But there are chances that all these biopics may set a monotonous tone to his work.

This is another combined work of Meghna Gulzar and Vicky Kaushal after Raazi. Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra are sharing the screen with Vicky in this film.
