Varun Dhawan Teases Kartik Aaryan Over His Tiff With Karan Johar

Recently during an award event in Mumbai, actors across the Bollywood industry showed up at the event. While one of the major highlights remained the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor Kartik Aaryan, apparently, Kartik was teased by the Jug Jugg Jeeyo actor Varun Dhawan on his conflicts with Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar.

Varun Dhawan Teases Kartik Aaryan

During the recent Style Icon Award, night celebs across the industry gathered at the event, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 star Kartik was also spotted during the event. While the Jug Jugg Jeeyo team also celebrated their upcoming film as they danced to the song Nach Punjaabban song. From Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anil Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sidharth Malhotra all the celebs joined Kiara and Varun on the stage.

Soon after which Varun pulled Kartik from among the guests and persuaded him to join him on stage. As per reports, Varun held Kartik’s hand and made him come on stage, saying, “Kartik, come, you can dance to a Dharma film song. As soon as Kartik joined the team Kiara called the Karan to join the dance too. In the video, Kartik could be seen smiling as Karan walked up to the stage to groove to the song. However, Kartik did come on stage on Varun’s insistence but did not do the dance step.

For the unversed, Kartik Aaryan is rumored of having a fallout with the filmmaker as he was ousted from ‘Dostana 2’ in which he was cast opposite Jhanvi Kapoor. In a new interview, Kartik Aaryan was asked if his differences with the industry people could cost him work as he is not from a filmy background. Responding to this, the actor said, “I just focus on my work. That’s all I would like to say on this. Look at my (film) line-up (right now).”

Kartik and Dharma Productions were working on Dostana 2 before the fallout. In a statement issued after the fallout, Dharma refused to divulge details and said that it would maintain a ‘dignified silence’ on the matter. As per the media reports, Karan had removed Kartik from the film because of his unprofessional behavior. The reports also suggested that he had an ugly fight with co-star Janhvi Kapoor because of which their friendship ended in January and they both are not on talking terms. However, there is no official confirmation about the same.

Later after the event, Varun Dhawan shared a video of the dance and wrote, Aap sab jug “jugg jeeyo Sirf @arjunkapoor ne step nahi kiya Love u guys”. After Varun pointed out Arjun for not dancing to the song, Arjun responded to his post with a video and wrote, ““Varun Dhawan jab humne kiya toh aapki team ne record nahi kiya kyunki aap Kartik Aaryan ke Bhool Bhulaiyaa mein kho gaye”.

He recently uploaded a video of dancing to the song with his sister Anshula Kapoor and wrote, “Have done this one with my ‘Extended’ family and now doing it again with my ‘Family’ family! Here’s a special one for my brother @varundvn JugJuggJeeyo mere Lala! Best wishes to the entire team”.
