Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal has been creating huge buzz among the netizens and the audience. The crime-action film has been creating headlines ever since its trailer was released. The film also marks the first-ever collaboration of Ranbir and actress Rashmika Mandanna. However, only a few are aware that before Rashmika Mandanna the role of the female lead in the film was first offered to none other than Parineeti Chopra.
Yes, you read it right, Parineeti Chopra was the first choice of Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his film, Animal. Parineeti was expected to take up the lead role alongside Ranbir Kapoor. However, Parineeti “rejected” the much-anticipated film Animal. Revealing the reason for leaving Animal, Parineeti revealed to India Today that she already has a film with filmmaker Imtiaz Ali.
Apparently, Parineeti Chopra opted out of the film, Animal to sign Imtiaz Ali’s film. Talking about the decision to drop out of Animal Parineeti told the portal, “These things happen, it is a part and parcel of life. We must make such choices every day. You make the choice that is right for you.”
For those living under a rock, Rashmika Mandanna will be essaying the role of the female lead in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, Animal. As per the reports, Rashmika was reportedly paid a whopping INR 4 crore for her role in the film.

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga Animal is an action drama Pan Indian film featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role alongside Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Apart from them, the film features Bobby Deol as the main antagonist and Anil Kapoor as Ranbir’s father. The film will be released in theatres on 1st December.
