The Electoral Directorate (ED) is currently investigating Rs 200 crore extortion case involving conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is also said to be linked to the case. The investigating agency had called her for interrogation multiple times and was recently stopped at Mumbai Airport by the immigration authority as she was flying out of the country. A few pictures of Sukesh and Jacqueline have surfaced online which suggest a romantic relationship between both. It is also reported that the actress received gifts from him worth Rs 10 crores.

Sukesh is married to actress Leena Maria Paul. According to the reports, she left her career as a Dentist in Bengaluru to be an actress. She began her acting career with Mohanlal-starrer ‘Red Chillies’ in 2009 and has since then appeared in several regional films like ‘Husbands in Goa’ (2012), ‘Cobra’ (2012) and ‘Biriyani’ (2013). Leena was also a part of John Abraham’s 2013 film ‘Madras Cafe’ where she played the role of RAW Decoder.
Although she played an employee of intelligence agency RAW in the film, the actress turned into a criminal in real life. Soon after the release of Madras Cafe, she met Sukesh and they started living together. In 2015, they got married. Leena said goodbye to her acting career and became Sukesh’s partner-in-crime. She was also arrested multiple times as she continuously remained involved with his criminal activities.
Talking about the latest case, Sukesh Chandrasekhar has been accused of extorting Rs 200 crore from a Delhi-based businessman’s wife while he was in jail. The investigating agency claims to have found evidence to suggest that his wife Leena Maria Paul was actively involved in diverting and routing the illegally extorted money through a Chennai-based firm.
