The ace comedian and bollywood actor Sunil Grover who has been loved by his fans for his famous characters of Gutthi and Dr. Mashoor Gulati is widely known for his punchlines and comic timing in the tinsel town along with proving his mettle as an actor in Bollywood and now is set to be seen with the Sacred Games (2018) star Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role in Amazon Prime series Tandav which releases in January 2021. During his recent interview, Sunil spills beans about interesting BTS moments on Tandav sets.
Sunil is in love and awestruck by the magnificent and ancient ancestral house The Pataudi Palace which is situated in Pataudi where he and Saif filmed for their upcoming digital webseries Tandav. Now during his recent candid conversational interview with a leading digital entertainment portal, Sunil spills beans about interesting BTS moments on Tandav sets.

When asked about his entire experience of shooting with Saif and team at the ancestral Pataudi Palace in Pataudi, Sunil said, “We shot a lot of our scenes in Pataudi Palace during the winter season. It’s a very beautiful place and a must visit place for winters. There are a lot of pictures of Tiger Pataudi Sahab from when he used to play cricket. As we spent a lot of time there, cricket was our favorite pastime. We all including Saif Ali Khan, Ali Abbas Sir, Zeeshan and everyone enjoyed playing cricket during our shoot breaks. Saif is a very humble man. While we all enjoyed playing cricket together, me and Saif became very good friends off-screen”.
Tandav has been bankrolled and produced by Himanshu Kishan Mehra and ace director Ali Abbas Zafar (Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger 3). Tandav is a political genre drama that has an apt ensemble star cast in form of Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sunil Grover, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Dino Morea, Kumud Mishra, Gauahar Khan, Amyra Dastur, Mohd. Tandav which shows its setting in the world’s largest democratic country India, will be getting the audiences and viewers inside the dark hole activities that happen behind the closed and immensely chaotic corridors filled with power and corruption and would unveil and remove curtains from those manipulations, diabolical faces, facades, and darkest secrets of people who will do anything to get in the powerful position.
Along with director Ali Abbas Zafar, Tandav also will mark the official digital debut of Tenet (2020) fame stalwart Indian veteran superstar actress Dimple Kapadia. In Tandav, we will be seeing Saif Ali Khan, Zeeshan Ayyub and Sunil Grover in totally new and never seen before kind of avatars.
